Data Security Team Lead

We're Hiring: Data Security Team Lead – Microsoft Purview

We're looking for an experienced Data Security professional to join Exquitech in a hands-on technical leadership role focused on solution design, successful project delivery, team development, and the continued growth of our Data Security practice.

You'll work closely with Security leadership, PMO, and our engineering teams to help drive the successful delivery of DLP and Data Security implementations for our customers, while also contributing to the development and continuous improvement of Exquitech's internal DLP capabilities.

Alongside Security leadership, you'll help shape the frameworks, technical blueprints, standards, and reusable methodologies that guide Data Security delivery across projects.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and contribute to enterprise DLP and Data Security implementations
• Translate organizations policies and regulatory requirements into practical security architectures and controls
• Develop and review HLDs and LLDs
• Lead and mentor a team of up to four Data Security engineers
• Work closely with PMO and technical teams to maintain delivery quality and project alignment
• Support customer workshops, architecture discussions, technical reviews, UAT, and rollout
• Contribute to internal DLP, reusable blueprints, automation, labs, POCs, and R&D

What we're looking for

This is a senior role requiring several years of hands-on DLP experience.

You should have delivered multiple DLP implementations from the ground up, including at least two enterprise-scale projects, with experience across requirements gathering, technical design, HLD/LLD development, policy configuration, testing, and rollout.

As a Microsoft-focused partner with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Purview, we're looking for someone with close to or more than two years of hands-on Purview experience, particularly across DLP, Information Protection, Data Classification, Insider Risk Management, and Data Security Posture Management.

Microsoft SC-400 or SC-401 is required, together with CISSP or an equivalent senior-level security certification.
