Job Title: Database Administrator
Location : Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain database systems, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Optimize database performance and ensure system reliability.
- Implement and manage virtualization environments like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Oversee data backup, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure.
- Ensure data security by applying industry best practices and regular audits.
- Develop and execute automation scripts to streamline routine tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure needs.
- Monitor and respond to system alerts, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular updates and patch management for all servers and databases.
- Document procedures and configurations for system processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years Experience in system administration and database management.
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Windows Server.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure.
