Establishing virtual servers, increasing resources, and following them up with technical teams
Managing the virtual environment and following up on solving problems according to the service agreement
Install updates according to the procedures followed with cyber security
Provide the necessary support to the customer team responsible for the servers in terms of solving problems and applying the required requirements
Applying the required requirements in terms of cyber security, such as installing protection systems and activating them properly on all servers
Activate the new virtual networks with the network team of the customer information center
Monitoring servers and solving related problems in cooperation with the owner of the system
Respond to a supportive system for the implementation of virtual environment services
Opening a ticket until resolving problems related to the virtual environment and volumes, monitoring and following up with the manufacturer
Managing systems for hybrid servers and following up on their periodic maintenance with the manufacturing company
Managing storage units and solving problems associated with the manufacturing company
Periodic maintenance of storage units by installing the latest updates to stabilize the operation of storage units
Make periodic reports for servers and their performance
Perform a periodic examination and a comprehensive technical evaluation of the virtual environment and storage units, open a ticket with the manufacturer and close it after solving the problem
Respond to attend emergencies and emergency meetings until the problem is resolved
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in hybrid cloud engineering and architecture
Basic knowledge of the structural structure of IBM 2Db databases (in terms of processes, random memory, storage systems, etc.)
Strong knowledge of relational databases and their various entities (tables indexes, views, joins, Store Procedures, table's partitioning, Table's clustering. Strong knowledge regarding REFERENTIAL (INTEGRITY, 3NF and De-normalization) The ability to create a virtual database design and the ability to implement it.
General knowledge of the procedural language of databases (Structured Language Query) with regard to commands related to data, commands related to entities, and commands related to powers.
General knowledge of the characteristics and functions of the operating system, the hierarchical structure of its files, and types of permissions Ability to write programs in the Linux operating system
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and services such as Azure
Experience with automation, configuration, and deployment tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Terraform
Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
