NX Digital Technology is urgently looking for a Datacenter Site Engineer with strong MEP experience to support the execution, coordination, testing, commissioning, and handover of datacenter and mission-critical infrastructure projects in the UAE.
This is a hands-on site role, ideal for someone who understands datacenter MEP systems, can coordinate with contractors and consultants, and can ensure work is delivered as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate MEP site activities for datacenter projects
- Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and handover works
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams
- Review site execution against approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and project specifications
- Support quality inspections, snagging, progress reporting, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and HSE requirements
- Track site progress and highlight risks, delays, or technical issues early
- Support commissioning activities for power, cooling, fire protection, BMS, containment, and related datacenter infrastructure
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Requirements
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 4–7 years of relevant site engineering experience
- Strong background in MEP systems for datacenter, telecom, critical facility, commercial, or industrial projects
- Good understanding of HVAC, power distribution, UPS, generators, cooling systems, fire protection, BMS, containment, and related infrastructure
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings, SLDs, layouts, technical submittals, and project documentation
- Experience in datacenter or mission-critical projects will be a strong advantage
- Good coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- UAE project experience is preferred
