Job Title: Debt Collection Officer

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Role Description

The Debt Collection Officer is responsible for managing overdue accounts, communicating with customers to recover outstanding payments, and ensuring timely collections while maintaining professional customer relationships and compliance with company policies.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers with overdue accounts via phone and email to follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Monitor and manage accounts to ensure timely collection of balances.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlement arrangements in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and account information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve account issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in debt collection or credit control is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to meet collection targets and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using computers and standard office software.
  • Arabic & English speaker is a must
