DeFi Business & Investment Development Manager

About the role

Oceanwide International Investment is a global investment organization focused on long-term capital allocation across traditional finance and emerging digital asset markets.

The UAE has become a key hub for digital finance, capital mobility, and institutional adoption of decentralized finance. This role focuses on how DeFi initiatives translate into real investment opportunities, partnerships, and scalable structures.

You will work at the intersection of investment strategy, ecosystem development, and market execution. This is not a sales role and not a trading role. It is about identifying where capital, infrastructure, and long-term value align.

This role is built for professionals who understand how financial influence is created in emerging systems.

What you will do

• Identify and evaluate DeFi-related investment and ecosystem opportunities
• Support development of partnerships across digital asset and financial ecosystems
• Analyze business models, incentive structures, and long-term sustainability
• Work with internal strategy and investment teams on capital deployment decisions
• Monitor regional and global DeFi market developments
• Prepare investment, partnership, and market-entry briefs
• Help structure scalable approaches to DeFi participation within an institutional framework

What we are looking for

• Experience in business development, investments, strategy, or digital asset roles
• Strong understanding of DeFi ecosystems and market dynamics
• Ability to evaluate opportunities beyond short-term narratives
• Experience working with international or emerging markets
• Commercial mindset combined with structured analytical thinking
• Professional-level English

Compensation

Base Salary: AED 550,000 AED 750,000 per year (Gross)

Performance Bonus: Based on deal quality, strategic impact, and execution

Long-term Incentives: Eligibility for company-wide incentive or digital assetlinked programs

Positioning: Senior-level compensation aligned with UAE fintech and investment market standards
