Role Overview:
We are a leading, well-established digital assets firm seeking a DeFi Quantitative Trader & Strategist to pioneer a new trading vertical. This is a foundational role for an individual who thrives on building from the ground up, supported by a world-class infrastructure and analytics team. You will have end-to-end ownership of developing and executing sophisticated strategies in the decentralized finance landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development & Execution: Design, backtest, and implement automated market-making and liquidity provisioning strategies on various decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
- Portfolio & Inventory Management: Actively manage and optimize a digital asset inventory, employing dynamic hedging techniques to minimize risk and maximize utilization.
- Advanced On-Chain & Market Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research to identify high-yield opportunities in staking, farming, and arbitrage. Analyze market microstructure and liquidity flows to inform strategic decisions.
- Systematic Trading: Build, monitor, and refine algorithmic systems for continuous strategy execution and performance monitoring.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a hands-on trader with a builder's mindset. You are as comfortable discussing the nuances of gamma exposure and dynamic delta hedging as you are writing the code to execute it.
Required Expertise:
- Proven track record in a proprietary, high-frequency, or systematic crypto trading environment.
- Deep, practical understanding of DeFi protocols, mechanics, and on-chain analysis.
- Direct experience building, deploying, and managing algorithmic trading strategies for DEXs.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and quantitative research using Python and SQL.
- A strategic, analytical mind capable of both generating alpha and owning its technical implementation.
