Overview of Role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Delivery Assurance Lead to ensure the effective execution and quality assurance of waste collection operations across Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on monitoring service delivery, ensuring compliance with municipal regulations and driving operational improvements to maintain high service standards. This role is ideal for a proactive operations professional with strong knowledge of municipality waste management procedures, service delivery optimization, and fleet coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily waste collection operations to ensure services are delivered in line with performance standards and contractual obligations.
- Conduct operational audits and field inspections to verify route completion, crew performance, and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi municipality waste management regulations and operational procedures.
- Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and service failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with Operations, Fleet, and Customer Experience teams to resolve service issues and prevent recurrence.
- Track and report key operational KPIs including service completion, missed collections, response times, and complaint resolution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and service delivery.
- Liaise with municipal authorities when required regarding service delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a reputed university or equivalent experience
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of successful operational experience in the waste management, facility management industries or similar (logistics or utilities services industry) is required
- Wide knowledge of Environment Services industry
- Knowledge in nature of the job
- Appreciation of the nuances and cultural differences of working in the Middle East
- Become and remain proficient in all programs necessary in running the operations
Knowledge
- Proven experience in waste management, environmental services, or municipal waste collection operations.
- Strong knowledge of municipality waste management operations and service compliance requirements in Abu Dhabi.
- Experience in operations monitoring, audits, or service assurance roles.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work closely with operational teams and ensure accountability in service delivery.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
