Delivery Director

The project:

We are seeking an experienced construction delivery leader with a strong contractor background who has successfully transitioned into a client or PMC environment. This role will take responsibility for driving on-the-ground delivery for high-profile Dubai projects, seconded into a client organisation.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of the construction works, ensuring alignment with programme objectives, quality standards, and client expectations.

• Managing internal and external project teams and overseeing performance across design, procurement, construction, and handover stages.

• Providing leadership across major projects, ensuring consistent delivery standards and effective integration across the programme.

• Overseeing contractor performance on site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.

• Managing design interfaces for information flow between consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.

• Advise on procurement planning and contractor engagement to support timely and efficient delivery.

• Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing robust mitigation plans.

• Preparing and presenting updates to client leadership

• Championing Mace's values, governance, and project controls to ensure a high performing project environment.

You'll need to have:

• Experience delivering major construction projects, ideally with a strong grounding in the contracting environment.

• Experience in leading internal delivery teams on large, complex projects from inception through to completion.

• Full lifecycle experience across design stages, procurement, construction delivery, and handover.

• Client-facing skills and operate with the polish and confidence expected in a developer-client environment.

• Experience working at pace within a live programme environment, driving outcomes while maintaining strong governance.

• UAE experience is required.
