Demand Planner

JobPurpose:

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales and demand forecasts. As well as coordinating & communicating with multiple teams to develop monthly & weekly sales forecasts, along with incorporating historical sales seasonality & trends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the correct inventory at the stores by analyzing the current inventory status and updating the ordering parameters.
• Daily monitoring of stock movement, running report of daily inventory and sales for forecasting demand.
• Maintaining parameters of the replenishment model and making sure it is accurately input.
• Preparing demand forecasts and initiating ordering to the suppliers and tracking receipt of such orders.
• Managing the relevant inventory in coordination with the Account Managers
• Ensuring timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts
• Dispatching orders to stores and ensuring proper tracking
• Liaising with suppliers for improving collaborative forecasting planning and replenishment
• Ensuring maintenance of appropriate and accurate records of in-stock and inventory position are kept.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Demand forecasting and Reporting.
• Reviews customer service metrics and investigates root causes.
• Fluent English and Arabic would be highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in demand planning field.
• Moderate to Advance knowledge of MS Excel skills (Pivot tables / formulas / linking Google Sheets) etc.
