Job Purpose
To support the Operations by delivering accurate demand forecasts, sales analysis, and S&OP insights that align sales plans with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Operations Manager in aligning demand planning activities with sales objectives.
- Prepare and manage monthly demand forecasts across all sales channels using statistical forecasting methods.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze forecasting models for sales channels, regions, distribution centers, and market intelligence inputs.
- Lead preparation for monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, including volume planning, risk assessment, and opportunity identification.
- Analyze sales performance, forecast accuracy, SKU trends, and regional demand patterns, highlighting gaps and growth opportunities.
- Prepare monthly business performance reports, including sales analysis, forecast accuracy, opportunities, and threats.
- Monitor distributor performance (sell‑in, sell‑out, stock levels, and replenishment) to ensure alignment with business plans.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and business processes.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or similar).
Experience:4–6 years of relevant experience in Demand Planning or Sales Operations, preferably within the FMCG sector.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Proven experience in demand planning and sales analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP applications.
- Strong reporting, data interpretation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
