Grandiose is a home-grown Retail chain giving its customers a different experience for shopping and dining in the UAE. The fast-growing premium grocery retailer is looking for a Demand & Replenishment Manager for their Supply ChainDepartment
Job Purpose:
Responsible for accurate forecasting, replenishment, and safety-stock management across Retail (Supermarkets, dark stores, and e-commerce channels) and other Food BUs. This includes aligning supply with demand, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring accurate data-driven planning that supports production and inventory decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop SKU-level demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, promotions, and market trends.
- Collaborate with Category, Marketing, and Commercial teams for demand inputs (promo plans, new launches, Festive Plans)
- Drive forecast accuracy (FA%) and bias reduction.
- Implement rolling forecasts (weekly/monthly) across all channels.
2. Replenishment & Inventory Planning
- Design and manage automated replenishment models (min-max / ROS / safety stock driven)
- Ensure optimal stock levels across:
- Stores
- Dark stores
- Distribution Centres
- Lead transition from manual pull → system-driven push replenishment
- Monitor OOS (Out of Stock), Fill Rate, and Service Levels
3. Inventory Optimization & Waste Control
- Maintain healthy stock cover (DOH / weeks of cover)
- Drive near-expiry management (FEFO compliance)
- Reduce:
- Inventory holding cost
- Shrinkage & waste (especially fresh & FMCG categories)
4. Supplier & Supply Planning Coordination
- Align replenishment plans with supplier lead times and fill rates
- Track vendor performance:
- Fill rate
- On-time delivery
- Work with procurement to resolve:
- Supply gaps
- LPO issues
- Contract discrepancies
5. Systems, Automation & Analytics
- Lead use of systems like:
- SAP / ERP
- Replenishment tools
- Power BI dashboards
- Build automated replenishment triggers based on:
- POS sales
- Stock levels
- Lead times
- Drive master data accuracy (UOM, lead time, MOQ, pack sizes)
6. KPI Management & Reporting
Track and improve key KPIs:
- On Shelf Availability (OSA %)
- Fill Rate / Service Level
- Forecast Accuracy & Bias
- Inventory Turnover
- Waste % (especially fresh categories)
- Stock Value
7. Team Leadership
- Lead planning teams:
- Demand planners
- Replenishment Analyst
- Define clear SOPs and governance models
- Drive cross-functional alignment with:
- Supply Chain
- Commercial
- Store & Warehouse Operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of FMCG retail & supermarket operations
- Expertise in:
Demand planning
Inventory optimization
Replenishment systems
- Data-driven decision making
- Advanced Excel / BI tools
- ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management
Preferred Experience
- 8–15 years in retail / FMCG supply chain / planning roles
- Experience in:
Supermarkets / Hypermarkets
Q-commerce / e-commerce planning
- Exposure to multi-country or high SKU complexity environments
