Job Summary-
As a Commis I, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of different dishes in the kitchen under the guidance of a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Job Responsibility-
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Follow recipes and instructions from Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to ensure consistency in the dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Help in setting up and organizing workstations before and after cooking.
Candidate Requirements-
- Proven experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from superiors.
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

The Demi Chef de Partie will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes within their assigned kitchen section. They will work under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Job Responsibility-
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the Chef de Partie.
- Ensure that food quality, presentation, and portion control are maintained at all times.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent food contamination and wastage.
- Help in maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
Candidate Requirements-
- Proven experience working as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Solid understanding of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
