Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilitie

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section.
  • Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly.
  • Support training and guidance of junior kitchen staff when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirement

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurants.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Culinary diploma or relevant certification is preferred.
