Deputy CAMO & Planning Manager to join a leading
VVIP helicopter operation based in Dubai, UAE.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to step into a key management position within a prestigious rotary-wing operation, supporting the continued airworthiness, technical services and maintenance planning functions of a high-profile helicopter fleet.
The Role
Working closely with the CAMO leadership team, the Deputy CAMO & Planning Manager will support the effective management of continuing airworthiness and maintenance planning activities across the fleet, ensuring aircraft remain compliant, operationally available and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities Will Include Supporting And Overseeing
- Continuing Airworthiness Management activities across the helicopter fleet.
- Short, medium and long-term aircraft maintenance planning.
- Maintenance programme implementation and control.
- Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other mandatory or recommended technical requirements.
- Aircraft technical records, maintenance status and compliance tracking.
- Coordination with maintenance organisations, engineering teams, OEMs and other internal stakeholders.
- Fleet maintenance forecasting and aircraft downtime planning.
- Technical services activities and resolution of airworthiness-related issues.
- Compliance with applicable UAE GCAA regulations and internal procedures.
- The CAMO Manager and wider leadership team in maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and aircraft availability.
Candidate Requirements
We Are Particularly Interested In Candidates Who Can Demonstrate
- Strong experience within CAMO, Continuing Airworthiness, Technical Services and/or Maintenance Planning.
- Previous experience within a helicopter or rotary-wing environment is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of continuing airworthiness and aircraft maintenance planning requirements.
- Previous supervisory, team leadership or management experience.
- Experience working with Airbus Helicopters and/or Leonardo Helicopters would be highly advantageous.
- A B1.3 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence would be highly desirable.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to operate effectively within a high-standard, safety-critical and operationally demanding aviation environment.
Experience within
VVIP, VIP, government, military or special-mission helicopter operations would be particularly attractive.
Location & Relocation
This position is based
full-time in Dubai, UAE and requires permanent relocation.
