Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct the construction supervision team, including Engineers and Inspectors, by planning, directing, supervising, and controlling all technical and administrative project functions. Participate in determining the required technical skills and staffing hours to ensure successful project delivery in compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Act as the main point of contact with the Client for all construction supervision-related matters, including progress reporting, HSE compliance, financial recommendations, quality assurance and control, and design modifications. Manage correspondence and coordination with the Client, sub-consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Perform the duties of the Engineer's Representative under FIDIC conditions and administer remeasured Contracts the EPC Lump Sum Contract. Ensure contractor compliance with all contract documents. Review contractor correspondence related to contractual matters, including variation evaluations, extension of time (EOT), and claims, and provide appropriate recommendations and responses. Support the QS/Contracts team on commercial matters as required.
  • Review, evaluate, and prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Clarifications (RFCs), and all technical submittals, including method statements and risk assessments (MS/RA), material approvals, contractor and subcontractor approvals, and shop drawings.
  • Participate in the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of field engineering assignments, including preparation of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, construction methodologies, and engineering systems.
  • Review and assess the performance of contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements, adherence to approved construction technologies and standards, and proper standardisation of materials and supplies.
  • Organise and attend weekly and monthly senior management meetings with the Client and Client representatives. These meetings include package reviews, contractor performance evaluations, key achievements and risks, resource updates, issue resolution, and monitoring of contractual milestones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum18 years of relevant experience in construction supervision of large-scale infrastructure, airport, building projects.
  • Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary supervision teams.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality, HSE standards, and project controls.
  • Ability to manage contractual, technical, and commercial issues effectively.
  • Proficient in report writing and construction documentation.
