Mission : Ensure the development and coordination of the project activities for the firefighting system, performed inside or outside
Saipem, in accordance with project costs, time, quality and Contractual requirements
Tasks : Bid projects:
Analyze the Tender Documents (technical and contractual) in order to verify their completeness and consistency
Set up the queries to be demanded to Client for clarifications and take part in preparing qualifications to proposal
Define alternatives and deviations
Define the estimate limits and responsibilities of the other project disciplines for what concerns firefighting systems,
supplying all necessary information for the development of the activities within his field of responsibility
Ensure the cost estimate related to the active fire protection system and equipment
Ensure the man-hours estimate related to the engineering and procurement of the active fire protection system
Executive Projects
Take part in the definition of the detail project execution strategy
Take part to the project risk assessment
Analyze and review the contractual documents
Define the list of activities, list of deliverables, time and schedule related to firefighting scope of work
Monitor performance indicators in accordance with technical instruction
Ensure that project documents are prepared, verified and approved according to Saipem and project procedures
Report to TM and referent project positions change in discipline scope of work
Ensure firefighting activities project progress, monitor and control man-hour consumption
Coordinate the evaluation of the design changes to the original scope of work and verify the implementation of those
changes once approved
Grant interface with the Client technical representative
Participate to the multidisciplinary project reviews
Define and issue the Active Fire Protection system design basis
Define and issue the Fire water network hydraulic calculation
Define and issue the Firefighting P&IDs, PFDs and Plot plans
Define and issue the Firefighting supply specifications and purchase requisitions
Execute the Firefighting bid-vendor Technical evaluations
Carry out the followup and issue the Firefighting Vendors documents
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Candidate shall have at least 10 years experience in engineering companies, to cover Loss Prevention and Fire Fighting activities
the onshore and offshore Oil & Gas industry.
