Job Description

Egypt Education Platform is looking for a passionate and energetic individual to fill the position of Deputy for the Head of KG Department at Madinaty Language School - Located at Madinaty. The successful candidate will support the Head of KG in overseeing the operations of the department, fostering an enriching and nurturing environment that promotes early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of KG in developing and implementing a high-quality curriculum that meets the developmental and educational needs of young learners
  • Support the management of daily operations within the KG department, ensuring smooth functioning and a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with KG teachers to provide guidance and support in delivering engaging and effective instructional practices.
  • Coordinate professional development opportunities for KG staff to enhance teaching practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Establish effective communication channels with parents, caregivers, and the wider school community to promote engagement and collaboration
  • Participate in school events, activities, and planning initiatives that contribute to a vibrant and supportive educational environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies in the KG department
  • Stay informed on early childhood education trends and best practices, supporting the Head of KG in curriculum development and innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in early childhood education, with experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and effective instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to inspire, support, and motivate educators and young learners
  • Commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to early childhood education
