Deputy Project Manager – Extra High Voltage Projects

⁩Job Purpose:

To co-lead, direct, and oversee the execution of critical Extra High Voltage underground cabling projects

The successful candidate will ensure project delivery matches the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency, strictly adhering to baseline schedules and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution:

Supervise the end-to-end execution of EHV underground cable projects from site mobilization to final testing, commissioning, and handover.Strategic Development: Formulate tactical execution plans, optimize resource allocation, and develop strategic solutions to mitigate field and logistical challenges.

Data Analysis & Performance Tracking:

Monitor and evaluate Project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Conduct rigorous data analysis on progress, material status, and financial forecasts to present actionable insights to executive management.

Stakeholder & Authority Management:

Represent the company in technical and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and relevant regulatory authorities to streamline operations and approvals.

Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks early, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to prevent schedule slippage and budget overruns.

Requirements & Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of solid, direct experience in Extra High Voltage (EHV) Underground Cabling Projects.

Mandatory Certifications:

Strict Requirement:

Must be an Approved/Certified Engineer by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) / Saudi Energy Company.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

Core Competencies:Advanced proficiency in Project Management methodologies and contract administration.

Proven capability in Strategic Development and complex engineering problem-solving.Strong technical and financial Data Analysis skills for data-driven decision-making.

Languages:

Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken), with the ability to draft technical reports and official correspondence.
