Job Overview

The Deputy Traffic Manager supports the Traffic Manager in overseeing the scheduling and coordination of activities for the Traffic Management Department. This role is responsible for assisting in the management of weekly and monthly scheduling adjustments, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The Deputy Traffic Manager also plays a crucial role in acting as a liaison between various departments to ensure efficient operational flow and accuracy of information.

Role Description

  • Assist the Traffic Manager in managing and adjusting weekly schedules for departmental activities.
  • Implement monthly adjustments to scheduling as necessary to accommodate traffic patterns and operational needs.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts, administrative issues, and communication challenges.
  • Make informed decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the traffic management processes.
  • Review and process operation files (arrivals), delivering them to the accounts department for verification and approval.
  • Ensure all operational content is handled correctly and in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
  • Proven experience in traffic management, administrative coordination, or a similar role within a travel or operations environment.
  • 1 – 3 Years of experience.
  • Excellent in English and French
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
