In this new position based in Dubai, you will become part of our experienced and dedicated teams located in Copenhagen and Panama City, and with the opportunity to collaborate and support group-wide operations.

We seek to strengthen our derivatives trading operations, so in this role you will be responsible for executing and managing derivative trades in the Arabian Gulf and West Africa regions, guiding risk management initiatives, working collaboratively with our commercial team to enhance hedging strategies, and overseeing administrative tasks related to our trading activities.

Areas of focus

• Solid understanding of trading derivatives, and an analytical mindset
• Basic Market Making providing a liquid derivatives fuel-oil market for physical traders
• Planning and execution of hedging strategies with the aim to mitigate oil price risk exposure arising from the trading of physical oil products
• Foster strong collaboration with key stakeholders
• Risk management
• Strong knowledge as to swaps and futures

Your professional skills

• Finance or economics degree; Masters/MBA preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Outstanding numerical/analytical skills
• Expertise in derivatives trading/risk management
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets/commodity trading
• Problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
