The project:

Mace is delivering a major expansion programme in Dubai, transforming a flagship development into a world-leading events and exhibitions destination.

The role:

Mace is delivering a major, multi-phase development in Dubai, focused on creating a world-class destination for large-scale international events, business activity, and tourism. The programme forms a key part of the city's long-term growth strategy and will significantly enhance its position as a global hub for commerce, innovation, and connectivity.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Support the coordination and management of post-contract design delivery across multiple work packages, ensuring alignment with programme, cost and quality requirements.
  • Assist Senior Design Managers in overseeing the design process across consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers.
  • Drive the coordination and integration of multidisciplinary design packages, ensuring interfaces are managed and risks mitigated.
  • Monitor design progress against programme, proactively identifying delays and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the review and approval of contractor design submissions, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Facilitate and contribute to design coordination meetings, technical workshops, and stakeholder reviews.

    Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and project specifications.
  • Work closely with construction, commercial, and logistics teams to ensure design is aligned with buildability and delivery strategy.
  • Contribute to value engineering and design optimisation initiatives.
  • Provide support on pre-contract activities, including technical design reviews, tender documentation and scope validation.

You'll need to have:

  • Degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in design coordination or design management within a consultancy/PMC environment.
  • Strong exposure to post-contract design delivery on large-scale building or mixed-use developments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across complex packages.
  • Good understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and buildability.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
