Job Responsibilities
. Design, review and optimize piping layouts and detailed design to meet engineering and functionality requirement
. Prepare and review piping material specifications for compliance with ASME/Other relevant code requirements
. Coordinate / validate pipe stress analysis (Static and Dynamic Analysis)
. Provide recommendations for modification or validation of piping layouts
. Review / generate piping, support and isometrics drawings
. Review / generate steel structure drawings
. Generate piping/structural material take off list
. Review / generate and optimize facility layout and structural design
. Coordinate / validate design calculations according to project requirements
. Liaise with client, project managers indesign works
. Provide value engineering proposalsduring tender and ongoing projects
. Coordinate and assist the project teamregarding on site works
. Ensure site works are according to thedesign drawings
. Check through drawings and ensure drawings are according to the design calculation
. Prepare As-built drawings/calculation for submissions
Requirements
. Degree in Engineering in relevant MEP (mechanical, electrical and piping/plumping) related discipline.
. Several years of job experience in design& engineering of process plants is preferred.
. Good sketching skills and ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas concisely
. Good communication skills essential forteam-based working.
. Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
. Good time management habits and ability to multi-task
. Analytical problem solving
. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (Plant3d, Revit, Advanced Steel would be advantage)
. Coordination and alignment with structural drawings
. Understand and clarify client requirements
