Job Summary
Responsible for transformer design, repair, retrofit, and service-related engineering activities, including reverse engineering, fault analysis, technical documentation, tender support, and compliance with customer and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reverse engineering of failed transformers for rewinding and refurbishment.
- Provide design and technical support for transformer repair, retrofit, and service projects.
- Prepare, review, and maintain engineering drawings, design documents, and BOMs in SAP.
- Conduct transformer fault analysis and review inspection/failure reports.
- Analyze transformer protection and control circuits.
- Review and prepare technical proposals, tender documents, and cost sheets.
- Maintain ISO documentation and work order records.
- Ensure compliance with ARAMCO, SEC, NG, and other applicable standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments, customers, and suppliers on technical matters.
- Support troubleshooting related to transformer manufacturing, testing, and service activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in transformer design, service, repair, retrofit, manufacturing, or testing.
- Strong knowledge of transformer design, protection systems, and fault diagnosis.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ProE, and SAP BOM management.
- Familiarity with ARAMCO, SEC, and National Grid standards.
- Knowledge of Oil DGA analysis is preferred.
