We are seeking an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in architecture and interior design, specializing in hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering at least five international branded hotels or resorts, managing the full design lifecycle from concept through execution while ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process for hospitality projects, including hotels and resorts, from concept design through construction documentation and site execution.
- Coordinate with international hotel operators and brand representatives to ensure alignment with brand standards and guidelines.
- Drive design excellence across architecture, interior design, and coordination of related trades teams with consultants and external stakeholders to ensure design quality and project timelines are met.
- Review and approve design drawings, material selections, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, regulations, and project-specific guidelines.
- Integrate BIM processes into project workflows and ensure proper coordination across disciplines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field or equivalent.
- Minimum experience delivering at least five international branded hospitality projects (hotels/resorts).
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of hotel design standards and operational requirements.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit) and strong working knowledge of CAD tools.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of local and international building codes, regulations, and design guidelines.
- Owner-side BIM governance (EIR/BEP).
- Multi-discipline design coordination.
- CDE setup, control, and audits.
- Model quality reviews and compliance.
- BIM inputs to Project Controls reporting.
- Digital handover readiness (as-builts/asset data).
- Hospitality systems/vendor coordination.
- Stakeholder reporting and meeting leadership.
