Job Description

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Client's representatives regarding project progress and design-related matters.
  • Support the implementation of project management procedures in accordance with contract requirements and Client procedures.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining project procedures for Design and Construction Supervision Management (as applicable).
  • Review design deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of design documentation.
  • Monitor design progress and report any issues, risks, or delays to the Project Director.
  • Support the evaluation of design changes and potential variations that may impact cost or schedule.
  • Participate in design review meetings, technical workshops, and project progress meetings.
  • Coordinate with construction supervision teams to ensure design intent is properly implemented during construction.
  • Review reports submitted by design consultants and contractors and highlight any areas of concern or non-compliance.
  • Assist in identifying potential risks in the design process and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1012 years of experience in design management or construction project delivery.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CIOB, RICS or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of design coordination and multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
