General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Client's representatives regarding project progress and design-related matters.
- Support the implementation of project management procedures in accordance with contract requirements and Client procedures.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining project procedures for Design and Construction Supervision Management (as applicable).
- Review design deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of design documentation.
- Monitor design progress and report any issues, risks, or delays to the Project Director.
- Support the evaluation of design changes and potential variations that may impact cost or schedule.
- Participate in design review meetings, technical workshops, and project progress meetings.
- Coordinate with construction supervision teams to ensure design intent is properly implemented during construction.
- Review reports submitted by design consultants and contractors and highlight any areas of concern or non-compliance.
- Assist in identifying potential risks in the design process and recommend mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1012 years of experience in design management or construction project delivery.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CIOB, RICS or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of design coordination and multidisciplinary project environments.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
