Provide design direction and structural advice to immediate design team
Be responsible for the design process from pitch through project completion, including concept development/design
Interrogate the brief, scoping of the project and allocating the necessary resources
Support the sales process by participating in new business pitches, working alongside a select team of colleagues from the creative / design / strategic / technical departments to develop strategy and creative pitches and programs that are ideas-led
Understand clients business, strategy and business issues and help design effective solutions that address the business need, with message and design aligned, appropriate and on brand
Acts as designer on projects, supporting the Associate Creative Director/Creative Director or independently, depending on scope of project: develop concept or idea for scenic or environmental treatment and present/sell idea internally and to client
Confidently and comprehensively promote the agency and its services
Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients
Research for projects and pitches, collate information, articulate and present your thinking to the wider internal team, so that they understand how best to apply that thinking.
Champion the latest ideas in creative event production
Ensure the agency creative process is followed and embraced.
Ensure quality standards are adhered to and proactively seek to develop standards in your line of work. (i.e. pitch proposal development, design values, etc.)
Constantly strive to push the boundaries of our offer, both creatively and strategically, and seek innovation in our delivery
Collaborate with other members of the team to drive forward the creative process and visual representation, ensuring that the process remains faithful to the strategic thinking, and is followed and embraced across all touch points
Engage with production throughout the delivery of the project with a keen interest in design detailing (responsible for providing design intent drawings)
Bring to life your ideas through 2D presentations or similar
Support the presentation deliverables through a variety of mediums
Keep abreast of cultural events and trends that affect our clients audiences and the design industry in the region
Build and maintain effective relationships with team members, suppliers and clients alike
Ensure clear communication to all parties regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and project status/action items
Coach and oversee junior team members on execution of all individual job details in your remit
Recommend best freelance and internal talent for the project and support resourcing requirements
Embrace and enhance company internal systems, processes and quality (QI)
Adapt to and be supportive of evolving corporate requirements and directives
Willingness to embrace additional tasks, if required outside of the overall scope of responsibilities in line with your grade and level of responsibility
Your projects could be exhibitions, product launches, business meetings, event branding, public events or consumer brand experiences

Formal qualification in design
Work Experience
You have 5-7 years scenic, event, architectural, retail, theatrical or broadcast design experience
Skills And Knowledge

You have the ability to incorporate design across many deliverables
You have excellent knowledge of 2D Graphic Creation/Branding and graphic software including Photoshop and Illustrator. Design Thinking Process experience.
