Job Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join our team and work with a leading banking institution to ensure seamless IT operations.

Experience: 4+ years in IT Operations (3+ years in banking preferred)

Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Requirements

As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will:

  • Provide technical support for devices and platforms such as Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Microsoft Surface, and more
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless IT operations
  • Manage and resolve tickets while adhering to SLAs and maintaining proper documentation
  • Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience is essential
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of IT operations experience in large-scale environments (4000+ users)
    • At least 3 years of experience supporting IT operations within the banking sector
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in end-user technologies, including troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues
    • Strong understanding of Avaya, Polycom, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and ITIL practices
    • Knowledge of IT service tools and processes to drive operational excellence
  • Behavioral Competencies:
    • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and customer-oriented mindset
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex tasks effectively
