ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization's perspective.

The role exists to support the development and enhancement of mobile application solutions within Shared Technology Services by implementing approved features, fixing technical issues, supporting integrations, and contributing to reliable mobile delivery. The role works with senior developers and relevant technical teams to translate requirements into working mobile components using approved mobile platforms, while following coding standards, documentation requirements, and information security practices.

Key Activities

• Mobile Requirements Understanding
• Understand assigned business and technical requirements and clarify expected mobile application behavior with senior developers and relevant stakeholders.
• Translate approved requirements into clear development tasks, implementation steps, and technical notes within the agreed scope.
• Mobile Application Development
• Develop and enhance assigned mobile application features using approved platforms such as Flutter, native iOS, or native Android.
• Implement reusable, maintainable, and secure code components in alignment with approved development standards and team guidance.
• UI Implementation & User Experience Support
• Implement mobile screens, flows, and interface components in line with approved UX/UI designs and application standards.
• Support improvements related to usability, responsiveness, navigation, and consistency across supported devices and platforms.
• API & System Integration Support
• Integrate assigned mobile components with APIs, backend services, identity services, and relevant internal systems as required.
• Coordinate with senior developers and integration teams to resolve interface issues, data exchange errors, and technical dependencies.
• Defect Resolution & Technical Support
• Analyze assigned defects, application issues, crashes, or performance observations and support required fixes under senior guidance.
• Participate in debugging activities and provide updates on resolution progress, technical constraints, and required support.
• Code Quality & Technical Review
• Prepare code that is readable, maintainable, and aligned with approved development, security, and performance standards.
• Participate in peer review activities, address review comments, and support refactoring or technical improvements when required.
• Release & Deployment Support
• Support mobile release preparation by completing assigned development tasks, verifying readiness, and providing required technical inputs.
• Assist in preparing release notes, implementation details, known issues, and post-release fixes in coordination with relevant teams.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration notes, development references, and implementation records for assigned work.
• Share knowledge, lessons learned, and mobile development practices with team members to support continuity and delivery consistency.
• Policies, Processes & Procedures
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic And Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant training or certifications in mobile application development, Flutter, iOS, Android, APIs, or secure coding are considered an advantage.
  
  

Years And Nature Of Experience

• 0-2 year of relevant experience in mobile application development, software development, APIs, or related technical roles, with exposure to mobile platforms and application delivery practices.
