Development Director - Real Estate

A leading developer in Abu Dhabi is seeking an accomplished Director of Development to spearhead major real estate projects and drive strategic growth across a diverse asset portfolio.

This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in endtoend development management, from site acquisition and feasibility to design, construction, and delivery. You will shape development briefs, oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain full control over budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

• Strategic project leadership from concept through completion
• Site selection, due diligence & entitlements
• Design oversight and collaboration with consultants
• Construction monitoring & issue resolution
• Financial management, cost control & risk mitigation
• Stakeholder engagement across government, investors & partners
• Market analysis to identify and evaluate new development opportunities

Ideal Profile

• 15+ years in largescale real estate development
• Significant Middle East experience (7+ years)
• Strong command of planning, permits, design management & construction oversight
• Solid financial acumen and budget leadership
• Proven ability to lead highperforming teams
• Exceptional communication, negotiation & analytical capabilities
