At STM Investments, we are looking for a Development Engineer to join our team and support the planning and execution of our real estate development projects.
In this role, you will contribute to the technical evaluation, planning, and follow-up of projects from concept to handover, ensuring alignment with the company's development strategy, timelines, cost parameters, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with consultants, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical integrity, value engineering, and smooth project development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review concept designs, master plans, and detailed drawings to ensure alignment with development objectives and market positioning.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and technical teams to ensure design optimization and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to technical feasibility studies, including infrastructure requirements, construction methodologies, and cost implications.
- Assist in preparing project development briefs, scope definitions, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project timelines and development milestones to ensure adherence to approved schedules.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize cost, quality, and constructability.
- Coordinate with Commercial, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure alignment between technical deliverables and business objectives.
- Support authority submissions, approvals, and compliance documentation processes.
- Provide periodic progress reports highlighting risks, delays, and mitigation plans.
Job Requirements
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (AUC or GUC graduates are preferred)
- 05 years of experience in real estate development, engineering consultancy, or construction within reputable developers
- Real estate programs or internships within real estate companies are a plus
- Strong understanding of real estate development cycles and project phases
- Knowledge of the regulatory process in Egypt is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, project planning tools, technical reporting, and AI tools
- Strong analytical and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced development environment
