The Development Senior Manager at Hyde Park Developments will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of property development projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic leader with a robust understanding of the real estate market, development processes, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall planning and execution of development projects, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and growth strategy
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to support site acquisition and development decisions
- Manage the project lifecycle, including concept development, design, approvals, financing, construction, and marketing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and local authorities to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple development projects
- Negotiate contracts with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Lead project teams and coordinate activities across various departments to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Prepare and present regular project updates, risk assessments, and status reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor project performance, identify issues proactively, and implement solutions to mitigate risks
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and community partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or a relevant field, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
- 15+ years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on commercial and residential projects
- Strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating successful project management and execution
- In-depth knowledge of development processes, including zoning, entitlements, financing, and construction
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management software and tools
