DevOps Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (on-site / hybrid; some remote)

1957 Ventures is a Venture Capital and Venture Builder backed by Riyad Bank, focused on early-stage fintech in Saudi Arabia and MENA.

We work with founders from zero to one: validating ideas, building MVPs, and scaling fintech products. You'll join a small, hands-on team where you can actually influence what gets built and how.

We're looking for a part-time DevOps / Cloud Engineer to own infrastructure, CI/CD, and reliability for one of our startups.

What you'll do

Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on OCI / GCP for dev, staging, and production.

Build and refine CI/CD pipelines for backend, web, and mobile apps.

Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging so issues are visible and actionable.

Work with developers on deployment, configuration, and performance tuning.

Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).

Implement backups, basic disaster recovery, and security controls appropriate for fintech.

Join incident reviews and help improve reliability over time.

Requirements

Cloud & Infrastructure

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including OCI Vault, OCI Logging, OCI Secure Storage, and managed PostgreSQL. GCP knowledge is advantageous.

Kubernetes administration and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)

Terraform IaC
