Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Must have skills : Apache Kafka

Good to have skills : AWS Core Infrastructure

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and maintaining development tools and infrastructure that support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes. The role includes setting up secure and efficient pipelines, collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth software releases, and managing cloud-based environments and container orchestration platforms. The position requires proactive monitoring and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity and security, while continuously improving automation and deployment workflows to enhance overall development productivity and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Core Infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration technologies and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience in designing and managing secure, scalable, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.

• This position is based at our Chennai office.
