About the Role
We are hiring a DevOps Engineer with deep experience in Azure and strong operational instincts. You will design, secure, automate, and maintain all cloud infrastructure systems that power our products.
This is a remote-first role that will transition to in-office in the coming weeks, so candidates must be able to work on-site soon.
What You'll Do
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure
- Work with Airflow for orchestration, pipelines, and scheduling
- Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement networking configurations, firewalls, routing, DNS, VPNs, and security rules
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure-as-code
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar security frameworks
- Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support deployments and incident response
- Own infrastructure reliability, observability, and scalability end-to-end
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, VMs, networking, security groups, storage)
- Airflow experience (self-hosted or managed)
- Docker + Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, or self-hosted clusters)
- Strong networking knowledge: VNETs, routing, firewall rules, load balancers, DNS, NAT, VPNs
- Strong security mindset: secrets management, zero-trust practices, firewalls, IAM, least privilege
- Experience working with or implementing SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Bicep preferred)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar)
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- AWS experience (EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, Lambda)
- Experience implementing SIEM/SOAR tooling (Azure Sentinel, Splunk, etc.)
- Monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, CloudWatch
- Scripting with Python or Bash
- Experience securing environments for HIPAA, PCI, or other regulated industries
