DevOps Engineer – AWS Cloud Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud operations. The candidate will be responsible for supporting secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, databases, and container services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, patching, and operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, AWS Systems Manager, and scripting.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure deployments, configuration management, and source-code management.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement security controls, IAM policies, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
• Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth cloud operations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational runbooks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, AWS Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash/Shell, or AWS Systems Manager.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, monitoring, patching, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with practical AWS infrastructure management experience, automation skills, and exposure to enterprise cloud operations are preferred. Experience in financial services or other regulated environments would be an advantage.
