Devops Engineer (AWS / Kubernetes / Automation)
KIDZONET is seeking an experiencedDevOps Engineerto join our growing engineering team.
You'll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure acrossAWSandbare-metal environments, with a strong focus onKubernetes,GitLab CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure acrossAWSandon-premiseenvironments.
- Manage and operateKubernetes clusters(AWS EKS and self-managed).
- Implement and maintainCI/CD pipelinesusingGitLab(repository and automation platform).
- Build, optimize, and maintainDockercontainers and images.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning usingTerraform,Ansible, andAWS CloudFormation.
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools usingPython.
- Configure and manage Kubernetes applications usingHelm.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, security, and performance (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployment and delivery processes.
Must have Skills
- 3+ years of experience as aDevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge ofAWS(EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, CloudFormation, S3, RDS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience withKubernetes setup, administration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Solid experience withGitLabas both a Git repository and CI/CD platform.
- Proficiency inDocker building and managing containers, optimizing Dockerfiles, and working with registries.
- Experience withTerraformandAnsiblefor infrastructure automation.
- Strong scripting skills inPython.
- Deep understanding ofnetworking and routing TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, network security, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
- Experience withHelmfor packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS).
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Nice to have
- Experience withMetalLBand Kubernetes networking internals.
- Understanding ofSREprinciples andInfrastructure as Code (IaC)best practices.
- Experience in cost and performance optimization on AWS.
- Familiarity withDevSecOpsand security best practices.
