Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of experience who is comfortable working across multiple cloud platforms. You do not need to be an expert in all three clouds; what matters is a strong foundation in cloud-native principles, container orchestration, and CI/CD automation, combined with the adaptability to work across AWS, Azure, and GCP as project needs evolve. You will own infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments end-to-end, working closely with engineering and product teams to keep systems fast, reliable, and secure.

Required Qualifications

•    1-2 years of professional, internship, or academic project experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure roles.

•    Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP); exposure to a second platform is a strong advantage.

•    Working knowledge of Kubernetes across any managed service (EKS, AKS, or GKE).

•    Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Google Cloud Build.

•    Infrastructure as Code: Terraform preferred; CloudFormation, Bicep, or Pulumi also valued.

•    Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.

•    Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals and networking knowledge (DNS, TLS, load balancing, firewalls).

•    Familiarity with at least one diagramming tool: Axure RP, Lucidchart, draw.io, or similar.

•    Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive ownership mindset.

Key Responsibilities

•    Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) based on project and business requirements.

•    Orchestrate containerised workloads using Kubernetes across managed services: EKS (AWS), AKS (Azure), and GKE (GCP); pod scheduling, auto-scaling, and health monitoring.

•    Build and own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or Google Cloud Build.

•    Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep/ARM templates.

•    Manage cloud networking across platforms: VPCs/VNets, load balancers, DNS, firewalls, and private connectivity.

•    Implement identity and access management best practices: AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID / Active Directory, and GCP IAM.

•    Monitor system health using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

•    Manage secrets and configuration using Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, or GCP Secret Manager.

•    Create architecture and workflow documentation using Axure RP, Lucidchart, draw.io, or equivalent diagramming tools.

•    Contribute to incident response, on-call coverage, postmortems, and continuous reliability improvement.
