Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive
DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience across
AWS,
Azure,
Kubernetes, and
VMware platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating infrastructure, ensuring CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud environments, container orchestration, and optimizing virtualized infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to support scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud platforms.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
- Maintain and optimize infrastructure on AWS and Azure, including compute, networking, IAM, and storage services.
- Manage VMware-based environments including provisioning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management of VMs.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar.
- Ensure security best practices are followed for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and system recovery processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize software delivery performance.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation).
- Solid experience with Azure (VMs, VNets, Azure DevOps, Resource Groups, AKS).
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, Helm charts, monitoring).
- Experience in VMware administration (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
