DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform & Containerization

Experience Required: 7+ years

Location: Chennai / Hyderabad ( On-Site )

Domain Preference: Banking or regulated environments

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage and strengthen enterprise Kubernetes platforms across AWS, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on experience in platform automation, containerization, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and CI/CD.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong DevOps and platform engineering experience

• Kubernetes and containerization

• AWS – EKS, VPC and IAM

• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• On-premises and hybrid infrastructure

• CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, and scale Rancher-managed Kubernetes clusters, including RKE2 and AWS EKS

• Design highly available and resilient Kubernetes architectures

• Manage Kubernetes backup and recovery solutions using Velero, Kasten, Portworx, or Longhorn

• Define and validate disaster recovery strategies, failover processes, and DR drills

• Build standardized and auditable infrastructure using Terraform

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows

• Manage Kubernetes security, IAM, RBAC, secrets, networking, and compliance controls

• Monitor platform availability, performance, and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar tools

• Support production incidents, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and audit readiness

Preferred Skills

• Rancher, RKE2, Argo CD, Flux, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk

• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments

• Exposure to banking, financial services, or regulated industries

• CKA, CKAD, AWS, or Terraform certification is preferred
