ARENGY is a specialized engineering and technology consulting company supporting clients across the Middle East and Europe. We are looking for a profile of DevOps Engineer - Solution Integration & Operations as a contractor to be based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia in order to support existing client's teams. In the perimeter of DelOps Team, the contractor will participate in the operations (RUN phase) and delivery (BUILD Phase where needed) of client's solutions to end customers. The contractor will work with client's teams (mainly Project managers, Service Delivery Managers, R&D department and other DelOps members) to succeed his mission.
Job Description
- Provide Tier II technical support for Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Design, implement, and optimize system changes while maintaining and improving internal tools and technical documentation.
- Support service delivery and operations, including change management (CAB), production readiness, technical guidance, performance monitoring, and participation in a 24/7 support rotation.
- Install, configure, integrate, and deploy solutions on customer infrastructure (hardware and VMware), ensuring seamless connectivity with customer systems and networks.
- Execute customer acceptance testing, develop operational documentation, collaborate with development and validation teams, and ensure successful project delivery following established processes and best practices.
Profile / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration, technical support, or system integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Shell, Python, or Perl scripting.
- Expertise in at least one of the following:
- Networking (IPv4, routing, TCP/IP)
- SQL/PL-SQL (Oracle/Cassandra)
- Apache/Web Server administration and SSL certificates
- Experience with AWS/GCP, VMware, Git/CodeCommit, ServiceNow, and monitoring tools such as SNMP, Nagios, and ELK Stack.
- Familiarity with network administration, virtualization, backup, and clustering technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
