Job Description
Edison Smart is proud to partner with a fast-growing UAE fintech hiring a security-focused DevSecOps Engineer to join its Platform team. You'll be a hands-on builder, shipping running controls, pipeline gates and detection rules rather than writing compliance reports. You'll work closely with the security, IT and AI teams.
What you'll do
- Harden Kubernetes: RBAC, network policies, admission controllers, image scanning
- Build shift-left security into CI/CD: IaC scanning, SAST, SCA, secrets scanning
- Set up detection engineering: SIEM pipelines and custom detection rules
- Own AWS identity, access and secrets
- Take part in the SRE on-call rotation
What you'll bring
- 4+ years in SRE or DevOps, including 2+ focused on security
- Strong Kubernetes and AWS security experience
- Terraform, Checkov and Trivy
- Python, Go or Bash
- Experience in a regulated environment
