DevSecOps Engineer

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

Specialists and Senior Specialists Work with developers to deploy and manage code changes and with operations engineers to ensure that systems are up and running. Identify, build, operate, manage & monitor automation processes for operational efficiency, reliability and consistency of SDLC and IT operations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Managing, Troubleshooting and Proactively updating h/w & s/w assets to prevent downtime and compromise security

Gathering requirements from end-users to develop best automation solutions.

Identification of new opportunities for automation within ITG and Data processes

Designing new automation Processes

Simulating and testing automation processes to ensure they function as desired

Writing reports for senior colleagues outlining new concepts, testing outcomes, and ongoing efficiency

Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation equipment or processes

Staff training/Workshops where necessary typically after implementing new processes or equipment, or making

changes to existing ones

Troubleshooting automated processes when errors occur

Work independently in end to end process from Env Setup to Production Rollout.

Resolve system audits and audit findings resolutions.

Execute assigned Operational Tasks

Execute assigned Deliverable Tasks

Perform Peer-Review - Ensure quality of work produced colleagues

Work with project leader to plan and organize the team assigned work tasks.

Setting up, testing and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT OR relevant any equivalent

5 to 10 years of Relevant experience in Automation, DevOps in the IT industry

Conversant in Technical, Development as well as IT Systems and Technology topics
