Qualifications:- Must be a graduate of High school
- Technical certication in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- 4-5 years experience in Heavy vehicle: pick-ups, buses, trucks, forklift and other vehicles
- Implement problem solving methodology
- Driver's license
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, common hand tools, measuring tools
Task Description:- Inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles in accordance with principal recommended procedures. Has evolved from high level technology associated work to simple basic mechanical repairs.
- Uses Diagnostic equipment as an aid in locating vehicle overhauling
- Advises foreman if additional work is required and informs him about job diculties
- Assists in on-job training or supervision of helpers and new employees
- Attends all training required sessions and meetings
- Troubleshoots and can perform fault nding sequences
- Overhauling of either engine or transmission.
- Repairs and overhaul pick-ups, buses, trucks, forklift and other vehicles
- Ensure good level of service quality.
- Keep the workstation clean and dy.
- Electrical system and wiring diagram reading.
- Background about vehicle AC system
