Digital Budget Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and multi-year budget planning for digital departments and projects.
• Establish budget baselines and track approved, committed, actual, and forecasted spend.
• Monitor IT project, digital product, and service budgets against delivery milestones.
• Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage budget changes, transfers, reallocations, and financial change requests.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, scenarios, and dashboards using Excel.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and pricing analysis.
• Identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities across licenses, cloud, infrastructure, services, and contracts.
• Review project cost estimates and assess financial feasibility of new initiatives.
• Identify financial risks, budget overruns, and future commitments.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Contracts, and Digital teams.
• Provide executive-level financial reports and recommendations.

Requirements

• BSc. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, MIS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ Yrs. of experience in budget management, financial planning, portfolio/project management, preferably within IT/Digital environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, financial modeling, and Power Query; Power Pivot is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle and technology cost models.
• Experience analyzing licensing, subscriptions, cloud, development, operations, maintenance, and technical contracts.
• Strong skills in forecasting, scenario analysis, benchmarking, and cost optimization.
• Excellent analytical and financial skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to challenge costs, identify efficiencies, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
• Professional certifications in Finance, Project Management, or IT are an advantage.
