Job Description

Job Title: Digital & Social Media Specialist (TikTok Specialist)

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Senior Marketing Executive / Marketing Manager

1. Job Purpose

The TikTok Specialist is responsible for growing Dr Secret's presence on TikTok and other short-video platforms, creating and managing content and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales for the brand (online and in-store).

2. Main Responsibilities

A. TikTok Content & Channel Management

Manage the official Dr Secret TikTok account (and Reels/Shorts where needed).

Plan and publish short videos based on the marketing calendar (new collections, offers, styling tips, behind the scenes, etc.).

Follow TikTok trends and adapt them to fit the brand in a modest, feminine way.

B. Video Creation & Coordination

Work with photographer/videographer or create simple videos using a phone (transitions, try-ons, unboxing, product close-ups).

Brief models, staff or creators on what to say/do in videos.

Coordinate with the graphic designer to add simple texts, logos, and covers when needed.

C. Paid TikTok Campaigns (Basic Performance)

Set up and monitor TikTok Ads (traffic, engagement, conversion) under supervision of marketing manager.

Test audiences, creatives, and formats to improve results.

Track basic metrics (views, CTR, cost per result).

D. Community & Brand Engagement

Reply to comments and messages on TikTok and escalate sales queries to the right team.

Engage with relevant hashtags, sounds, and creators to increase reach.

Coordinate with branches for content (in-store videos, new displays, openings).

E. Reporting & Insights

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on TikTok performance (followers, views, engagement, top videos).

Suggest ideas to improve content, posting times, and campaign performance based on data and trends.

3. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).

13 years experience in social media, preferably with strong focus on TikTok / short-form video.

Proven examples (portfolio) of TikTok/Reels content created or managed.

Good understanding of Arabic (mainly) and simple English.

4. Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of TikTok trends, formats, and algorithms.

Confident in shooting and editing short videos on mobile apps (CapCut, TikTok editor, etc.).

Creative, fast, and comfortable in front of or behind the camera.

Basic knowledge of digital metrics (views, engagement rate, CTR, cost per result).

Organized, able to follow a content calendar and deadlines.

Team player who can coordinate with marketing, design, and retail teams.
