Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking an operational, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking Content Operations Manager to lead our digital content execution team. In this role you will lead a team of Content Operations team members managing site updates across our resort's major attractions, luxury hotels and 100+ retail and dining outlets.

You will focus on team leadership, workflow optimization, campaign project management, and enforcing GEO and SEO standards across all incoming website requests. You will act as the operational bridge between cross-functional marketing teams, the SEO and team and our content operation team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team and Process Management

  • Team Leadership & Workflow: Manage, mentor, and allocate daily tasks to content operation team responsible for website updates and CMS publishing.
  • SOP Development: Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), QA checklists, and content SLAs for website updates originating from various business units.
  • Quality Assurance & Gatekeeping: Service as the final gatekeeper for site quality, ensuring all updates published by the team meet brand guidelines, visual layout standards, and accuracy requirements before go-live.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: implement workflows (including AI-assisted prompt workflows) to streamline raw copy reviews and accelerate team throughput.

2. GEO/SEO Optimization & Content Gatekeeping

  • GEO & Search optimization: Review and refine incoming content updates from internal stakeholders to ensure text is optimized for AI discovery and search engines.
  • Content Structuring & Schemas: Enforce Q&A formatting, structured headings, meta tags, alt text, and schema standards for routing updates across store listings, hotel packages and attraction pages.
  • SEO collaboration: Work closely with the digital marketing / SEO manager to implement keyword strategies, search intent recommendations, and technical search guidelines into the team's daily publishing SOPs.
  • Lightweight content updates: Perform quick, essential copy updates (e.g., store hours, minor product/attraction detail changes) when needed, while delegating major component builds and bulk CMS publishing to content team.

3. Campaign Project Management

  • Cross-functional project management: Serve as the central website project manager for major resort campaigns, liaising with branding, marketing, hotels, attractions and tenant teams.
  • Asset & timeline orchestration: Track deliverables, copy approvals, and visual assets across stakeholders to ensure campaign launch deadlines are met.
  • Execution hand-off: Partner with the content manager on landing page concepts and assign page assembly task to content team.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in Content Operations, Digital Project Management, or Web Production, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
  • SEO/GEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tactics e.g., structuring copy for AI summary engines, direct-answer formatting, meta tags).
  • Project Management Skills: Proven track record of managing cross-functional digital projects with multiple stakeholders (Marketing, Brand, Operations) under tight deadlines.
  • CMS & Operational Familiarity: Experience working with enterprise Content Management Systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, WordPress) and task management tools.
  • Mindset: Highly organized, process-driven, structured communicator who excels at building SOPs and coaching junior team members.

  • AI traffic growth: Improved content discoverability (GEO/SEO) driving uplift in organic traffic.
  • SLA & delivery speed: Turnaround time and adherence to content publishing SLAs across all 100+ resort touchpoints.
