Job Description

MBLM DXB is looking for a Digital Director. This role is a senior-level position for a hands-on, experienced professional adept at producing, overseeing, and supervising digital projects from strategy to execution.


As the Digital Director, you will be accountable for all digital products, ensuring that they meet high standards of quality, and the fulfillment of specific milestones and deliverables such as digital strategies, UX/UI design oversight, managing timelines, budgets, staffing, and technical specifications. This role also interfaces and collaborates with the Technical Director and leads digital marketing engagements that incorporate CRM and lead generation best practices.


As the discipline leader, you will be interfacing with clients to navigate digital strategy options, providing solutions to queries and challenges related to digital marketing, website strategy, and more.


Internally, this role works closely with creative directors, strategy directors or consultants, designers, animators, content creators, and the development team through all project phases. The position has performance goals, ensuring profitable projects, high-quality outputs, risk assessment, foresight on client requests, and continuity with the team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning of digital solutions for clients or MBLM intellectual property projects
  • Interface and collaborate with the Technical Director to ensure technical feasibility and alignment
  • Create business, technical, and, functional requirements documents as well as quality assurance and user acceptance checklists for each project
  • Manage the internal and external teams to accomplish project tasks and ensure successful delivery of milestones and deliverables on time and with high-quality
  • Oversee content to ensure it aligns with strategic directions and provide advisory to clients and internal teams, ensuring design consistency with graphics, imagery, and copy
  • Guide and support digital design teams, providing direction and ensuring adherence to the latest UI/UX trends and best practices
  • Work with clients to gather required information such as initial briefing, content, discussions, revisions, set expectations, and drive quality within the agreed scope of work
  • Present interim development iterations of digital deliverables to clients for feedback and approval
  • Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Conduct quality assurance and lead internal teams to assume responsibility for the quality of the final product
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging UI trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating these insights into project designs and strategies.
  • Build and manage project timelines, assign responsibilities, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Play a key role in the agency’s leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making


Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker with a client-centric approach and a passion for delivering results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expert understanding of digital marketing channels, content marketing, SEO, PPC, social media
  • Proficient in CRM tools such as Hubspot, Pardot, and Salesforce, with hands-on experience in building workflows on Hubspot and a solid understanding of digital marketing processes.
  • Excellent in the creation of presentations and subsequent presentations to senior executives and stakeholders
  • Seasoned experience in workshop content creation and management to gain insights, gather information, and compile imperatives for the projects at hand
  • Genuine and high-impact team leader, capable of motivating, directing, and inspiring cross-functional project teams
  • Driven to create and lead best-in-industry digital experiences and contentÂ
  • Strong negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to identify and manage scope, with past experiences in writing in-depth planning and requirements documents
  • Highly competent with project management tools such as Basecamp and OmniPlan
  • Well-versed and solid understanding of web development processes such as agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Keen awareness of UI trends and the ability to integrate these into digital products to enhance user experience.


Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience in a digital/interactive agency deploying websites, CRM projects, mobile applications
  • Proven record of team management ability
  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Design, Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
