Required Skills
- A minimum of 10 years experience in the design of electronic digital hardware.
- Knowledge of electronic digital system/subsystem design with application in the high-speed PCB layout domain.
- At least 3 years experience in the application andmethodologyofhigh-speeddigital and EMI/EMC applications.
- Electronic Eng. degree. (Batchelor, Honours, Masters)
Key responsibilities
Providing guidance to design teamswrttechnical specification of digital hardware design especially considering international standards, practices, and acceptance.
Execute/Control
- Providing guidance to technical design teamsregardinghigh speedtesting practices and methods and qualification and high-speed PCB layout practices.
- Implementation of sound and advanced engineering practices. Organise and chair design reviews. Hardware Interface Control Documents and Development Specification.
- Leadership in generation and review of digital hardware high speed layout practices, EMI/EMC practices.
- Mentoring and training of entry technical personnel.
- Provides inputs to managementregardinghigh speeddigital design.Assistin the generation of a technology horizon plan that includes resources andhigh speeddigital applications.
