The Digital Learning Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying digital learning solutions to help the team deliver effective learning sessions. The role applies relevant instructional design and adult learning principles while ensuring compliance with departmental goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Learning Strategy & Development
- Develop and implement digital learning strategies and initiatives to enhance employee learning and development opportunities.
- Research and evaluate digital learning technologies, platforms, and tools to identify the most effective solutions for delivering training content.
- Create engaging and interactive digital learning materials, including e-learning modules, videos, and simulations, to support a variety of learning needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to design and develop digital learning content that aligns with learning objectives and organizational goals.
Learning Platform Management
- Manage the digital learning platform, including content management, user administration, and technical support, to ensure a seamless learning experience for employees.
- Monitor and analyze learner engagement and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning programs and make data-driven improvements.
- Provide training and support to employees and managers on using digital learning platforms and tools effectively.
Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in digital learning and instructional design to continuously improve digital learning offerings.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify learning needs and priorities and develop digital learning solutions that support talent development and business goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development by advocating for the use of digital learning tools and resources throughout the organization.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with onboarding and integration of LXPs such as Degreed, Cornerstone, and 360Learning.
- Operational knowledge of photo and video editing software and tools, visual design skills, and the ability to storyboard.
- Experience with Storyline, Articulate, Brainshark, and Adobe Learning Manager.
- Solid knowledge of course delivery platforms such as Zoom, Webex, GoToTraining, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working with at least one Learning Management System (preferably SAP).
- Working knowledge of digital authoring tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and ScreenFlow.
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is required to be successful in this role.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of overall work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in digital learning, instructional design, or learning technologies.
- GCC experience of at least 2 years is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
